Installation of the Irrigation System February 2025
The work was started on Feb 11th 2025 by Inscapes Ltd. & was operational on Feb 24th. It consisted of digging a trench in the bottom of the gullies to a depth of 350mm, laying a 50mm dia pipe as a ring main with pop-up sprinklers on each side. These are fed at 150psi from a submersible pump in our existing 5,000 lt tank giving a flow rate of 190lts /min at each pop-up head in sequence. A programmer controls the operation, either automatically or manually, to give an even coverage of the green to a depth of 2.7mm of water.
